The domed option features a raised 4mm profile and is manufactured using a durable three-layer construction designed to withstand all conditions. The first layer consists of a UV-resistant doming resin that provides a high-gloss, scratch-resistant finish. The second layer includes a variety of substrate options such as real carbon fiber, chrome, camouflage, and factory color-matched materials. The third layer uses 3M automotive-grade adhesive to ensure a strong, long-lasting bond. Real raw carbon fiber material features a raised 1mm profile.
Installation
Installation is quick and requires no drilling or modifications. The overlays are designed to fit directly over the raised embossed lettering on the tailgate, and with proper surface preparation, installation can be completed in approximately 15 minutes.
